Volunteering at Special Dreams Farm is a great opportunity for anyone looking to make a difference in the life of adults with special needs. Volunteers are always needed in all areas, such as gardening, growing plants in the greenhouse, animal care, cooking, sewing, and crafts. It is a great place to make new friends and share in the volunteer role.

Volunteers are essential to an organization like ours. Gina and Aggie from the Master Gardeners of St. Clair. Chris Rettig teaches our leather class, Sisters Ann and Virginia helping with cooking and Lucy with sewing. Plus, volunteer groups from UPS and Home Depot. And of course our board of directors that volunteer huge amounts of their time to the farm. There are many special needs adults that want to be a farmer at Special Dreams Farm but need a job coach. Job coaches are paid. If you would like to volunteer your services at the farm or would like more information on how to be a job coach, please contact our program manager Sara at 810-326-0127 or e-mail manager@specialdreamsfarm.org for more information.
